Admitted to West Virginia UniversityJust a non-trad applicant wishing I knew to spend a little more time in the library than the bar, but NO REGRETS.
Shoot your shot! Apply to as many schools as you can. LSAT scores aren’t everything, and as long as you have a strong application, it should be fine. Apply to safeties, target, and reach schools, you never know where you’ll get offers. Admission decisions are unpredictable and different for each school. Keep your…
Be yourself. You are playing your own game. Present a compelling case for yourself and you will have options. Most law school admissions advice: is bad- is too general will not apply to you Critically examine information, then do what is best for you.

I didn’t apply for a merit scholarship at Duke after it became clear to me that…
As a native Appalachian, I want to give back to my community in some way. Therefore, location and school culture matter to me the most. My advice: follow your passions and interests. Your happiness is more important than prestige. Apply as early as you’re able, and look into schools you never thought you’d be…
If you are interested in a school…TOUR! All it takes is one A.
Wrote Why X and Leadership Essays for everywhere I could! Relevant government and university work experience throughout undergrad Big 10 Undergrad I had COVID and my dad was in the hospital w it when I took LSAT, probably should’ve written an addendum

Never quit. I’m a 51 yo retired Army Sergeant Major and law student from a family of HS grads and dropouts who never looked beyond everyone’s expectations…
