Apply Early!! Like Sep or Oct You can apply for fee waivers on many top school’s websites based on merit! Not just financial aid stuff. Save your money! Also LSAC calculates GPA differently! May be higher or lower than a regular 4.0 scale. Use this GPA to calculate your chances.

non-trad 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal post undergrad. Undergrad at UGA poli sci and minor in philosophy. changed my mind after submitting applications to go part-time. I technically only have two programs to choose from that are in my state (ga state and AJM)

Some schools will see the value you bring through your application and some won’t. Some schools that you thought were guarantees, aren’t. Some schools you thought were a longshot, weren’t. Have faith in the process and know you’ll end up where you are meant to be. Peace and Love
-Shoot your shot -Sometimes you have to listen to your heart more than others -Be honest, the Admission Committee can smell BS -Stay true to your roots, even if some find it to be controversial- You would not want to attend a law school that does not align with your views :)
Applied very late cycle (February & March) but still waitlisted/admitted. Extensive work experience (T3 mostly with a few T2) helped compensate for the LSAT & late application. Applied 2 years out of undergrad but 6 years work experience due to research/work from undergrad.
i have no wisdom. this cycle literally broke me lol my softs are honestly like 3.5 but that might be an exaggeration. going to pretend i am special For anyone curious about my WL —> A at Arizona, I got the admit email about 2.5 weeks after getting the WL email (4/15–> 4/29)
Warning about Arizona - the deadline for the first deposit was 4/15, and on 4/8 they emailed me (and presumably everyone who hadn’t paid yet) that since I hadn’t paid it, they were reducing my scholarship in half. Wasn’t planning on going there but I’d be beyond pissed if I was.

It’s nice to have fun when you’re young. Make the most out of it but remember that actions have consequences! Also, if you’re serious about law school, consider saving up while you’re in undergrad/school and create a schedule for studying for the LSAT. The earlier the better!
NU was my top choice so I’m elated!!! I wish I didn’t bother sending out other apps (UVA and NYU), but the suspense of waiting was killing me so I wanted distractions. Applying to HLS in December made ZERO sense and was money down the drain…but oh well I’M HAPPY NONETHELESS
