It’s easy to get tired of the cycle (I know I have), just try to remember why you wanted to go to law school in the first place and keep pushing till the end!

Admitted to Drexel UniversityApplied w/ a 3.76. Went up to a 3.84 mid cycle. Cardozo twice (completely unprompted) increased scholarship 2X. Was initially offered 35,000 a year in my acceptance. In mid March, I was informed it had been increased to 40,000 a year, and then finally 2 weeks later I recieved another email telling me I was being…
I applied very early due to my low UG GPA and my median LSAT score. I made sure my application was ready and reviewed to submit on the first day of applications. I decided to write all the optional essays that they offered. My reasoning is that, the more you write about yourself, the more they will get to know you.…
Study for the LSAT at least 2 years before you plan on applying…
Start EARLY. Start your personal essays much earlier than you think, they take a lot of time. 7sage has a list of every school and what their essays are so you don’t have to bounce around LSAC. I would recommend starting in April-May for submissions in September. Don’t be afraid to take an LSAT class, the 2-3…
-Only 5 weeks to study for LSAT, taken only once -Biology BS (3.29) to Biology PhD but dropped after one year (3.885) -My C&F was a very minor traffic ticket that was only reported to a few schools based on guidelines -Email schools for waivers. The worst they say is no (or not respond)! I was able to solicit…
schools only care about your highest lsat score! take, re-take, and re-re-take until you’re happy.
Apply early. Aim for the highest LSAT you can achieve. Your writing matters as does the whole of you. Don’t be afraid to write addenda explaining anything they might have a question about. Your GPA and LSAT score are not the best things about you and you reveal what better things there are to the admissions…
Non-KJD applicant with unique softs and personal experiences around music and healthcare. Undergrad in music performance and post-bacc program in medical science. Also had an MBA at time of application. Looking at IP law (with contacts in boutique IP law firms making my law school decision less consequential than it…
Pay as much money as you can to do well the LSAT, especially if you are a splitter. A few thousand on a course can make up for tens of thousands in scholarships. Originally applied to 5 schools 2020-21 cycle with a 15low and got 4/5 waitlists, no acceptances. Reapplying this cycle with higher LSAT and fingers…
Don’t let reddit and your LSAT score get to you. Make your PS a masterpiece and pray with faith.
START EARLY!!! i started way too late. APPLY FOR FEE WAIVERS A MONTH BEFORE YOU PLAN ON SUBMITTING - I didn’t realize that I qualified for most fee waivers, and ended up not having them because I didn’t have time to wait for them to come in. Wrote supplementals for most schools, usually “Why X.” Applied to…
I’m a HOYA LAWYA Shoot your shot and don’t hesitate to apply to your first choice. I only took the LSAT once and my resume, personal statement, optional essays (I always did them) and recommendations all focused on my experience in advocacy and social justice and my interest in my being a public interest attorney.…
Took the LSAT twice with one cancellation (got sick during the test). Scores were 158, cancel, 160. Applied with a diversity statement about chronic invisible illness, and a personal statement on my experience growing up with a parent that struggled with addiction. Included an academic addendum for two breaks in my…

I have really weird softs, the kind that one admissions professional might see and say “how unique, that’s a great foundation for a lawyer” and someone else could easily say “this means absolutely nothing”. I put it in as 3, probably it’s really a 4, but the right reader might have given me a lot more credit.
