No regrets about the amount of apps submitted. Knew with my stats I would need to apply broadly. Had fee waivers at every school plus 6 CAS waivers not including the three below. UPDATE: Got into my dream school!!! Don’t let anyone convince you not to apply somewhere you want to go. Most people told me to only focus…

Admitted to Southern Methodist UniversityWhen someone tells you to start working on applications 18 months before you are going to enter 1L, take them seriously and start studying/drafting. Don’t put the extra procrastination stress on yourself if you can help it.
Control the controllables.
ExcitedDuck - my gpa sucked because my undergrad was way too tough for no rzn. I’m a cisgender Asian female born in Canada. Believe in yourself, no law related employment whatsoever. I literally got depressed because I was so worried about getting letters. I studied full time for the lsat which I think helped. My…
Take sooooo many deep breaths. Everything happens for a reason. You are going to do great and end up right where you need to be!!!
Reddit can only tell you so much of the story, trust yourself and your gut instinct and put the time and effort into what you know you’re good at versus what the internet thinks you should be good at. It’s your story at the end of the day, and the only author it’s by is you.
For transparency, I’m attending Vanderbilt based on very personal reasons that also make the cost of living zero. If you’re looking at my profile and are weighing similar options, I would have gone to either UT or Northwestern if it weren’t for these circumstances. Go Commodores!
Take undergrad seriously! Ask for letters of rec three months before you plan to send in apps. Take frequent breaks to avoid burnout when studying for the LSAT. Get involved in extracurricular activities that aren’t academic! Write LOCIs when waitlisted if you are serious about attending a school. Wishing you the…
My cycle took 158 days. Go Blue Devils! Here’s some unsolicited advice: shoot your shot. I was pretty convinced that T-14 admissions or scholarships would be largely unattainable for me because of my below-median LSAT - but remember, numbers are only part of your application. More unsolicited advice: STUDY STUDY…
If anyone finds it interesting that someone with my stats got waitlisted to BLS, PM me.

I couldn’t have gotten any of these acceptances without support from my loved ones! Remember you are never alone in this process. I talked obsessively about elite law school admissions to anybody who would listen – and it paid off!
Apply broadly but also focus on a few schools that really interest you. I believe my genuine interest in Duke and UT helped me get accepted. Also, the optional essays are not really “optional.” I recommend to always submit them along with your PS and DS if you have one.
Start studying WAY before your LSAT! I only gave myself ~3 months, which was not nearly enough. Take it multiple times. I recommend taking it once early on in the process to get the test jitters out/down and then retaking later once you have a consistent PT score. Request Fee Waivers! Most schools give them out, so…
Never back down, never give up eeehhhhhhh-mazing. For the dream, the stream and the EH-Team. When I got my LSAT score I cried, I was PT-ing in high 170s but had a panic attack the night before and got a 168 with 3 hours of sleep. I got immensely depressed after taking the LSAT a part of my identity was ripped from…
Cycle is complete and wow what a journey. I want to give at much information as possible to help y’all. LSAT: Started studying using Blueprint during winter break of my junior year. Got up to a 161, got a 155 on the at home LSAT in April of that same year. I really liked the Blueprint course for lives classes and a…
I think it is safe to say I punched above my weight this cycle and I’m incredibly lucky and blessed. I did not know what to expect and think my cycle shows how random/chaotic admissions can be. My advice is to SHOOT YOUR SHOT, I can’t emphasize that enough. People said there is no reason I should have got an A at a…
LSAT June 2022 168 -> November 2022 170. I spent about 5 months on total studying for the LSAT. Started out at a 154 diagnostic. I only used 7Sage and took around 30 PTs total. Personal Statement Objectively I’d say my personal statement was around a 6/10. I feel that it was fairly well written, but the narrative…
