Shout out to all the trans girls out there! This first point is addressed to y’all. I’m going to be so real: y’all got the softs, alright? But you got to right those essays, and write them well, even if it’s hard. There is a lot of doomerism, and there is good cause for that. But I want to stress: law school classes…

Not everyone is t14 or bust don’t let Reddit or SM influence your school choice.
Cycle is complete and wow what a journey. I want to give at much information as possible to help y’all. LSAT: Started studying using Blueprint during winter break of my junior year. Got up to a 161, got a 155 on the at home LSAT in April of that same year. I really liked the Blueprint course for lives classes and a…

Get ready to learn waitlist, buddy. The best thing you can do with an awful UGPA is do well on the LSAT. Find your target school, research what the 75th percentile LSAT is and aim to beat it. Understand that schools may look at your application holistically, but they are still reporting only two metrics to the ABA:…
I didn’t write any additional essays. I also focused my personal statement specifically to Arkansas and Mississippi. I worked since I graduated high school and obtained a director role while raising 3 children. So though my lsat score wasn’t great and my gpa looks terrible, the last two years I got all As but during…
You already know… GPAmaxxing. You can’t change it so don’t let it slip. I think being above at least one median helped me get on some of these waitlists. The optional statements, do them! You really have to. LSAT is most important but I felt as though my other attributes carried my application despite being 9 points…
Why not shoot for the moon? Just try! You never really know what the admissions committee is thinking.
Prestige isn’t everything; what really matters is happiness and making an impact in the lives of others.
Do not do well with standardized tests. Took LSAT three times and got 159, 153, and 162 on the final try. Not the best score but I gave it my all and got a tutor for the final month before my final try. Planning on JAG in the Marine Corps so not stressing too much about the ranking of the school.
