I am going to law school no matter what — Reverse splitters unite 🩷 UPDATE Mar. 2026: Seat is secured 🎂 I found my calling heading into my third year of college, though I’m a “KJD” on paper, I’ve already found my life’s work. I’m a first-gen lawyer that doesn’t know what I’m doing. I credit a lot of my knowledge to…

Admitted to University of ToledoEMAIL SCHOOLS AND ASK FOR CAS FEE WAIVERS!!! They can be incredibly helpful in widening your net. A majority of schools will say no, but that doesn’t mean you can’t also get a few to say yes. So far, I have received a CAS waiver (solicited) from: Brigham Young University (chose not to apply) Cleveland State…

My priority was staying out of debt, so I used this site to maximize my scholarship potential. You should too! I didn’t apply to any “reach schools”, only schools were people with similar stats got a decent scholarship. My number one piece of advice is to prioritize staying out of debt over rank or prestige. I’ve…
Cycle Notes Stats Undergrad GPA: 3.63 LSAC GPA: 3.30 - first couple semesters in 2020 quarantine were difficult for me to adjust to. Classes being forced online was not my preferred method of learning, or best way of learning for that matter. Traditional in-person was best for me, a setting where I could actively…

Life is short. Do the things that make you happy.
Apply wide. Really wide. Embarrassingly wide. Then let the dust settle and make the smartest boring decision available. Prestige is a fine thing until you’re paying for it with money you don’t have chasing outcomes that aren’t guaranteed. The humble path taken confidently beats the prestigious path taken anxiously…

I only took the GRE, as I have an engineering backgrounds Undergrad and Grad. The GRE is not accepted everywhere, and most schools who do take it will tell you they treat it evenly with the LSAT, but they do not. If you have a GRE only expect less scholarship money and few choices. I have IVY league Grad-school…
GPA is low due to a heavily abusive relationship in college that ruined the first 3 years of my undergraduate. The final year was a great bounce back, but obviously only does so much. Some offers are definitely better than others. It seems a lot of schools are not willing to look past the GPA despite writing an…
My mistakes: •Originally considered a gap year to study and work. Instead, I graduated in December 2021 and changed my mind, studying for almost a month and got a 156 on January LSAT. •Applied late in the cycle and got phenomenal responses from low tier and month-long static from my top choices. Be less impulsive,…

If you are in high school taking college credit classes - please try hard or else it will tank your LSAC GPA when you decide you want to be a lawyer
June 2022 - 151 Applied to Northern Illinois University and University of Toledo with my 151 November 2022 - 158 I tried to be as detailed as possible for my fellow neurotic folks.
Scores don’t mean everything. I had a couple internships and was heavily involved in many clubs at my university. Keep working and don’t give up.
Take the test five times, get the best score you’re capable of, and apply broadly. Don’t limit yourself to a “local” school.
Don’t focus so much on your LSAT and GPA! Shoot your shot, you never know what you’ll be offered.
