I own the WE category in my field. No one has more expertise than me when it comes to being a bum. Here are the reasons: I didn’t choose the bum life, the bum life choose me. I was not born into a rich family. Because there are no such things as rich bums. I was so delusional I started hallucinating during the LSAT,…

Admitted to Florida A&M UniversityTrust Jesus and ask him to be in your life! He will get you into your dream school and He got me into Harvard law. It was my dream for years, and it was an impossible, unreachable, depressing, and unrealistic goal. But if He is truly God, then the impossible for us is simply nothing for him. Ask him to show you…
Just a girl trying to take over the law field. GPA is low due to health concerns that occurred my freshman and sophomore year been on honor roll/ the deans list since. REDDIT IS EVIL!!
All you need is one.
PhobicRhetoricalRottweiler left no wisdom for posterity… (◕︵◕) I dont care what law school you chose to go to because law school is a scam. But if you do decide to give your self hell for 3 years at least consult this vague list of first year curved grades. Not at all 100% but it gives you an idea of what schools to…
Do your best and work hard!!! From my experience while working in big law at a top 100 firm that deals with Bankruptcy, tax, international contracts and real estate from what new associates and seasoned attorneys have told me; the school you attend nowadays does not matter as much as it did 10 years ago. It is your…
Keep your GPA high. If your GPA is low, study hard for the LSAT. If your GPA & LSAT are low, build your resume to the moon. If all else fails, write the most influential and heart wrenching personal statement possible.
Seek God and everything else shall be added unto you. took 5 gap years off. Traveled, worked, and waited on God to put all the pieces together for me. Excited for this new season in my life.
My advice for the future generations reading this is: don’t worry about anything; you’ll be fine! 3-28-23 Update: 147 OG score when applications were sent out in late March, then 157 on the June LSAT. I only notified four schools (from which I was previously denied) of my new score. I emailed LSU and Ole Miss, which…
Apply wide. Really wide. Embarrassingly wide. Then let the dust settle and make the smartest boring decision available. Prestige is a fine thing until you’re paying for it with money you don’t have chasing outcomes that aren’t guaranteed. The humble path taken confidently beats the prestigious path taken anxiously…
We can only think of Plato and Aristotle in grand academic robes. They were honest men, like others, laughing with their friends, and when they diverted themselves with writing their Laws and the Politics, they did it as an amusement. That part of their life was the least philosophic and the least serious; the most…
Some schools will see the value you bring through your application and some won’t. Some schools that you thought were guarantees, aren’t. Some schools you thought were a longshot, weren’t. Have faith in the process and know you’ll end up where you are meant to be. Peace and Love
Know beforehand if you can handle work and the LSAT. If you do get a low score but have a terrific GPA & were super involved in your undergrad, apply to your dream schools. Oh, get your personal statement checked 3+ times! You know the saying, shoot your shot ~~
Don’t freak out. I’m retaking the LSAT loud sigh
Don’t give up! Even if you feel like your LSAT score is not high enough, law schools look at other things. Struggles you’ve overcome and work achievements are a huge advantage even with a low LSAT score
-3.2 undergrad degree gpa but LSAC converts it to 2.7 from junior college transcripts a longgg time ago earned an MPA after undergrad worked full time through school
GPA > WE I naively thought WE would benefit me in the admissions process but was wrong. My 3.77 went to a 3.5 after a challenging semester of 18 credits and 2 different jobs at 45+ hours per week.
This process sucks at times, but in the end things will work out the way they were destined to be. Good Luck with the process!
