I feel incredibly grateful for how my cycle turned out. Last year, I was admitted to only one school. I applied late (after February), with a lower LSAT and essays that I cringe just thinking about now. This year was completely different. I applied to nearly every school in October and November with a significantly…

Admitted to University of BaltimoreLook at my lawyer, dawg, i’m going to jail
Drink an entire Pipeline Punch Monster in 7 minutes. Sit the LSAT cold. Forget your locker key so you can’t even have a snack during break. Go home & pass out. Not recommended, but that’s what I did.
Don’t give up, and don’t compare yourself. You are unique and have your own story to tell !
LSAC slaughtered my GPA (how the fuck do withdrawals count?). My LSAC GPA is actually sub-2. Degree GPA is 3.1. I wrote a really nice addendum. LSAT Strategy- I had an extremely demanding job while studying for LSAT. I’m fine at LR and RC, so I just spent all possible time doing logic games over and over and over…
All it is going to take is one “yes.” That’s it.
A J.D. is a J.D. You are not any lesser of an attorney if you don’t get into a T14. The world will take you where you’re meant to be, even if it’s not Harvard or Yale. Stop fighting to be the greatest. Start working to be the happiest.
Splitter Advice Apply to less schools- : if you’re hesitant about living somewhere, it might not be the right fit. Tell your story, focus on the highs- : if you spend a paragraph in an addendum describing adverse circumstances from undergrad, spend a paragraph describing how you bounced back and put yourself in a…
Money comes and goes… but swag is forever.
Uhhh, work hard, do a lot more outside of studying for LSAT and GPA that you both love and can make an impact on your communities, and have fun with it. At the end of the day, you want to be a lawyer right? Then going to law school is the goal, where you go is always secondary.
OVERALL ADVICE: APPLY EARLY EARLY. I felt my applications were submitted almost a little bit late. I wasn’t able to catch the “early” wave. I had a handful of people look over my PS. I would recommend maybe two or three max. Make sure your personal statement goes back to “Why law school”. I wrote an addendum…
Rejection is part of life ! I am happy that I applied broadly and decided on a school that aligned my values , my finances and proximity to where I have my house
You got this. Don’t let others define your goals or your success for you. UofO bound! Here are my thoughts at the end of my cycle: If you can renegotiate scholarships DO SO.- Using some of my other scholarship offers as leverage I was able to increase other offers at other schools. Take your peers advice with a…
Do note that I have estimated certain scholarship figures when not awarded as a numerical sum. In cases of a “full tuition” or proportional scholarship, I assumed a 5% increase in all costs per year. You may have noticed that I received a particularly high number of CAS report fee waivers. This was in part due to my…
You stats aren’t the only thing that matters. Ensure your softs are as strong as they can possibly be If you choose to be on reddit, be kind and seek reasonable advice (however people’s opinions aren’t the end all be all) Again, if you choose to be on reddit, be kind. Law schools are on reddit too Shoot your shot,…
Applied late in Feb to most schools with my Jan LSAT score of a 153. After getting rejected by 4 schools within 2 weeks, I kept the rest of my apps on hold until the April LSAT score was released (4/30/25). My advice is take the LSAT as early as possible and apply as early as possible. Also before you submit an…
